New cultural buildings in the heart of historic towns as the Museum of Pilgrimage by the architect Manuel Gallego Jorreto in Plaza de Platerías in Santiago de Compostela.

The atlantic coast is the most populated area, however between the hundreds of villages, sandy beaches offer an extensive variety of landscapes.

Contemporary revitalization of a historic route

Five paths cross Galicia in all the directions, coming from as far away as England,  south Portugal,  or Andalucía and going from Santiago de Compostela towards Finisterre. Noted above all, the Camino Francés (french way), crosses all northern Spain and links directly Santiago de Compostela with all the european major cities.

Paths that hide a history of over nine centuries, full of indelible traces from all the pilgrims that built it up and that still today keep it as an alive reality.

Across the Way, as a guiding thread, not only it is possible to understand part of the last 900 years of the European History. We are sure that once inside the low urbanized nature, you would definitely feel the most magical and mystic side of our region, getting a much more deep understanding of the meaning of the city of Santiago de Compostela and the urban settlements within the land.
